I have got lot of free traffic from Craigslist as craigslit is easist way to get traffic so i used it to maximize my income on url shorteners.I will teach you the method to post free classified ads on Craigslist.1st of all go to craigslit.org. Then go to post free classifieds at the left top corner.There you will get the categories as below.

The selection of category depends on which type of ad you are going to post.So keep select the category which matches your ads.After selecting the best suitable category according to your content,you have to select its subcategory according to your ad that you want to post.After that you will get the ad posting page.
Select the best title according to your ad.
For eg : for posting ad related to business services,the Posting Title would be "Earn money from short url" and in the Posting Description box you can place your shortened URL with descriptive note as below.The URL which you want to place in the ad should take the viewer to an online business website or you can place your referral URL in the ad shrunk with adfoc.us so that of the viewer view that ad go to the adfoc site and joins it then he should count as your referral and you could make commission out of his earnings too.

Posting one ad can give you 100 of hits in a period of next 24 hours.you can post the same ad but in different cities/states.Posting ad in countries which give high revenue for every click would be better like US,UK traffic is high CPMed traffic.If you don't get much traffic in next 24 hours then start posting m,ore and more ads but remember,you must not post any fake ads as posting fake ads may ban your adfly/adfocus account if caught by admin of URL shorteners.This was the easiest way of getting free traffic to short urls which i have used in my experience.This was the detailed procedure posting free ads on craigslist.I must tell you that sometimes posting short URL on craigslit shows error.In that case you can post short URL on other website which have high Alexa rank and is similar craigslist or you can read my other post which will tell you the procedure to bypass the craigslit error which you may get which posting ad containing the short URL.
